Y6 - Friday 2021 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
WE’RE BACK!
We are just thrilled to be back in the classroom – both adults and pupils – and to see every single Year 6 on Monday morning was just the best start to the week. We have spent the days working through the lockdown pieces that have been set and we are sharing, reviewing, celebrating and consolidating our pupils understanding of the work. We have introduced the “Double Page Spreads” this week and the class has really enjoyed working on these and it has given us the chance to chat to the children about their work. There are some examples of their circus work on the “Display Work Items” tab so you can enjoy looking at how we are extending the work and sharing these in class. There is also a tab labelled “Settling back in nicely…..” with lots of pictures of the Year 6 this week and what stands out is how happy they are to be back in school with their friends. We are sure you’ve missed them at home this week and have noticed how quiet it is, whilst we have enjoyed having our classroom filled with excited chatter and learning once more.
