Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 6th September

Y6 – Friday 6th September  2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

AMAZING   **  KEEN  **  TIDY  **  HARD-WORKING  **  BRILLIANT  **  ATTENTIVE  **

Wow!  What a fabulous start to Year 6.  The class arrived on Wednesday and have already made the best of impressions upon the adults in class – long may this continue, Y6.  It has been three days of many different activities already with pupils completing reading, assessments, handing RE artefacts, maths, assemblies, French and making a start on their exhibition work.  It’s going to be a very busy term, but the class has already made the best of starts and over the coming weeks, we look forward to keeping you up-to-date and informed with what is going on.  Please note that the pupils have been given their first homework task – click on the “Homework” link on the main Year 6 page to see full details.  There are also some photos to share - click on the "Display Work Items" tab to enjoy these.

Thank you to so many parents who were able to attend our “Welcome” meeting on Thursday evening.  We are always aware that parents may not be able to make it, and therefore a copy of the presentation was issued to these families on Friday.  Please do take the time to read this through as it has important dates and information.

** We are pleased to confirm that our Year 6 residential to Kingswood will take place from Friday 19th – Monday 22nd of June 2020.  Thank you.

If – at any time during the year – you would like to speak to any of the Year 6 team, please see the main class page on the website for a range of ways that you can contact us.

We are really looking forward to working with our pupils and their families during 2019-2020.
