Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 12th October 2018
Another really successful week has gone by in Year 6. We are now well on our way to having a really good selection of work to show you: written, artistic, physical and visual. We can't wait to share it all with you and our school community at our Exhibition 2018 - "Peace".
This week, the pupils have brought in some lovely dream catchers - stunning efforts. In English, we have been learning about The Pals Battalions, whilst we have also been working with Mrs. Cooper on World War 1 - specifically our poems based upon the visit to the Arboretum, and what happened at Gallipoli. Mrs. Fitzhugh has been working on developing the pupils' knowledge about Islam, light & shadows, and musical appreciation.
Next week, we shall be finishing our preparations for the Exhibition and improving our dance with Miss Oakes from Premier Sports. We hope it will be effective for your on October 25th!
