Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 14th October 2016
Year 6 Week-in-Review Friday 7th October 2016
We’re now another week closer to our annual Exhibition – this year’s “About Time” and we’re working hard to make sure that our work is all ready and prepared to share with you. This week, we’ve been working on our musical decades work, considering what gadgets might look like in the future, looking at various “times” with Mrs. Benson in RE and practising our dance moves once more.
In maths, we’ve improved our skills in drawing and measuring cirlces, and we’re now onto quadrilaterals. There’s some tricky names to get to grips with, but we’re improving all the time.
Photos from the week will appear below from Sunday so that you can see some of the activities we’ve been enjoying.
Below is a list of performances which you are invited to as part of our Exhibition:
Tuesday 25th October 2016 @ 2:00-3:00pm – Premier Sports PE Lesson – parents invited to visit
Thursday 27th October 2016 @ 6:45pm – Year 6 to perform “Songs & Dances – Changes Through Time”
Questions to ask your son/daughter this week include:
What gadget have you imagined for the future?
Do you want to show me your dance moves, or tell me music you’ve been practising to?
What “times” have you been thinking about for RE?
Kind regards
The Year 6 Team
