Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 19th May 2017
Year 6 Week-in-Review Friday 19th May 2017
So, this week, our pupils have been working hard on a range of topics. We are pleased that our assessments for reading, GAPS and maths are officially done, however we are now focusing our attention on continuing to improve and enjoy our writing skills with Mrs. Timmins and Mrs. Cuttle.
Mrs. Cowell has continued to entertain us with the “Titanic” topic and we were busy recording our song with Mrs. Benson and Mr. Hext on Thursday afternoon.
We’re really excited to be starting work on our end-of-year show “Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies”. Auditions will be held for specific parts next week – we know it’s going to be another funny production this year.
Please do continue to check our website which is updated over the weekend. These coming weeks have a great deal of dates and information for families and pupils – it’s going to be busy!
Questions to ask your son/daughter this week include:
Tell us about your script for Robin Hood.
What were you really proud of this week?
Kind regards
The Year 6 Team
