Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 20th April 2017
Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 20th April 2018
What a cracking first week back, Year 6. You've been so busy that the week has flown by.
We are now really beginning our revision towards our SATs and this week, we have focused on revising puctuation (hyphens and dashes); reading comprehensions and maths using algebra. We are continuing to keep our writing going, and this week we have completed our diary entries based upon Charles Causley's poem "Timothy Winters". These are now going into our red published books (which are collating our work so beautifully). Our diaries are available for you to read - just click the link under "Display Work Items" and they will load as an adobe document. We hope you enjoy them, although they are quite emotional at times!
The pupils are also continuing to learn about The Titanic; extending their knowledge of French; they've worked on PE skills with Mrs. Fitzhugh this week (covering for Mrs. Cowell) and enjoyed Thursday with Mrs. Benson looking at RE.
We can't quite understand how we're already three weeks ito April, though. Anyone who can explain how this year is whizzing by so fast could earn themselves some housepoints!!!
Here's to another great week coming up.

Questions to ask your son/daughter this week might be:
1. Show me how to find your Timothy Winters writing?
2. What aspect of The Titanic have you learned about this week?
3. What is your blog about for ICT?
