Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 10th June 2022
Y6 – Friday 10th June 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
Lovely to have the class back after the break for what will be their final half term with us as primary school but what a busy half term we’ve got. This week, we began a fabulous new story – you might want to ask the children about it – and we are working from this for our last few weeks. Maths has seen us grappling with packaging cupcakes and teddy bears (although not in the same boxes!) and we’ll continue with this into next week. Afternoons have been a mix of hats, RE, the heart (see our photos for our pulse rate activity), PE, French, 7UP and – of course – buddies to finish the week.
Thank you to those who were able to make the Kingswood meeting – planning is almost complete for this. Handouts for families who were unable to make it are sitting on our desk and will be handed out to pupils on Monday.
Please do keep checking our Year 6 page which is always updated by Sunday lunchtime. There are so many different activities going on this half term, and these will always be posted on the latest news item in order to keep families informed. Thank you.
