Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 15th March 2024
Y6 – Friday 15th March 2024 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
This week, we have enjoyed completing our flashback stories in English, whilst working on angles in maths, revising the different names, sizes and properties of each one. We have created quizzes about North America; designed nightlights; discussed the role and meaning of human rights; honed our hockey skills; enjoyed playing with our buddies; and on Thursday afternoon, we teamed up with all of the junior classes to enjoy a science afternoon.
It was lovely to meet with families and to chat through pupils and their time in Year 6, this week. Thank you for popping along and attending.

- EA Our Science afternoon
- FB Writing our flashback stories
- BHu Working on angles in maths

Looking forward:
- We are looking forward to extending our work around “A Story Like The Wind” for English and continuing to look at angles in 2D shapes for maths. We will be learning more about how to make our nightlights and continuing with our learning about Native Americans.
