Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 18th March 2022
Y6 – Friday 18th March 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
Thank you to all our familes and pupils for a great week of parents' meetings. it was lovely to be able to have these in a more normal fashion and we hope that you found these useful - we enjoyed chatting with you all.
We have really enjoyed a super-busy week in Year 6 and we have completed many different tasks for our lessons. Our dual narrative has been planned and we are now in the process of writing our extracts – slightly dark and a little eerie in tone. Our knowledge of perimeter and area has been challenged with rectilinear shapes. Making copper using malachite proved interesting (with an added aroma of vinegar!) whilst friction and functions was the focus for our science lesson. We considered our human rights and completed our worked based upon the book “We Are All Born Free”. We completed the week with a look at RE and music with Mrs Riddell; French with Madame Cuttle; hockey with Mr Biggs and Buddytime with our favourite pupils ?
Photos of the class are back this week - please see our "Gallery" page for 18.03.22
