Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 21st March 2025

Y6 – Friday 21st March 2025 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

For March, this has been a busy week.  We have enjoyed looking at the style of newspaper reports for English, whilst completing our unit on Statistics by calculating “The Mean”.  The class has responded brilliantly to their spring term assessments and have, in return for a test each day, earned themselves 25 juicy marbles for their class jar.  Well done Year 6.  On Thursday, they smiled for their final class photo and on Friday, there was a fabulous array of socks to support World Downs Syndrome Day 2025.  Some socks even held sock-hands – cute!  Our afternoons were taken up with working under desks to test electricity; looking at the Alderley Edge copper mines; enjoying our weekly My Happy Mind session; and considering e-safety and coding.
