Y6 – Friday 3rd December 2021 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
This week, our pupils have been enjoying such a different mix of activities. We’ve begun to look at explanation texts with a focus on polar bears, and we learned a few facts about these bears that surprised us all. Fractions have been challenging our maths brains and biomes and adaptations have kept our science focus going. Our English and science lessons are building on each other brilliantly, with adaptation being a main focus. One lesson that really caught attention was “Designer Dogs”. This proved to be a real hit with pupils learning about inheritance through a highly engaging task. Finishing the week, the class enjoyed a super session of PE, a tres bon French session, and a highly enjoyable buddy time.
Our pupils worked their “publishing socks off” on Friday and the fruits of their work are available for families to enjoy via the galleries tab. Please do visit and read the amazing work of our talented pupils.
