Yr 4 Looking Back and Forth 25th October 2019
Thursday 25th October 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 4
Looking back:
What a fantastic Exhibition! The children worked so hard and I hope you agree with me, that it paid off. The work they completed for the display hopefully reflected the depth of their knowledge on Everest and the brave mountaineers who face the challenge!
The composition piece that the children completed was a superb and fitting end to the Exhibition. Both Mrs Benson and myself were very proud of the children and their efforts – there were lots of marbles for the jar!
Looking forward:
This week there are lots of new things to start. This week we will begin our science topic on ‘States of Matter’. The children will continue to work on mountains, but will be using and applying their knowledge to different tasks. This will hopefully help the children retain the skills and knowledge they have developed. The children will begin looking at a new book. This is a super book called ‘Leaf’ by Sandra Deickmann.
