Yr4 5.4.19 Looking Back and Forth
Friday 5th April 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 4
Looking back:
Thank you for another great half term. The class have worked hard and were super in York. All the children have made a point of thanking the adults who came with us to York. This has been very well received.
In English this week, the children wrote their own recounts of their adventures in York. These were edited and are now ready to go into our topic books.
In the afternoons, we prepared for our assembly for parents as well as completing our Tudor topic. The children have a project for over the Easter holidays. They can chose from a number of activities relating to the Tudors. As there is still so much to learn about this exciting time in England’s history, the children can now take their research in their own direction.
Year 4 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- School council and writing about yourself
- Writing our recounts
- Timestables and Purple mash
- The York assembly
- Mrs Cowell’s birthday doughnuts!
