Yr4 Friday 23rd June - Looking Back and Forth

Friday 23rd June– Looking Back & Forth in Year 4

Looking back:

This week, another super busy week, spending time with our South African friends; learning dances for the Rose Day and working on the Coronation Tapestry project together.  We met a Buddhist monk in assembly on Monday, which was fascinating.  We can’t believe that we will be saying goodbye to them on Monday.  We have also been working on our decimals in maths and exploring pop art in the afternoons.  We had rounders with Mr Biggs on Friday, which was a lot of fun.

Questions to ask at home  -

  • What did you draw for the Coronation Project?
  • What have you been learning about Pop Art?
  • When dividing by 10 you move one place to the ….?
  • When dividing by 100 you move two places to the ….?

Children’s highlights of the week

  • E. with Mr Biggs
  • Fish and chips
  • Art with Mrs Goldsmith for the Coronation Project
  • Dancing with the children from Elizabethfontein
