Eid Celebrations in Year 1

Today in Year 1, courtesy of Noor and her parents, we were lucky enough to experience a mini Eid Celebration.

We looked at beautiful prayer mats, prayer beads and accessories (head dresses and bangles). There was an opportunity to try on traditional clothes which the children really enjoyed!

We also tried chicken pilau rice, parathas with jam or honey and Zarda (a sweet rice). Every bit was delicious!
