Friday 14th October 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
Another very busy week in Year 2 preparing for the Exhibition. Please see below for extra information. We have also been busy with maths, RE, phonics, reading, music and geography.
Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:

What is happy breathing? Can you sing the song?
Looking forward:
- Reading books will be changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.
- The Exhibition – Infant children will perform a song at 3pm on Wednesday and Thursday on the Junior Playground. We will then return to our classrooms before home time.

- If you could send cakes for the Exhibition café into school on Monday that would be much appreciated
Homework in Year 2
Spelling - next week we will have a spelling quiz based on our learning so far, so no sheet has been sent home
Maths- no sheet as we will be doing assessments
Reading – please read regularly with your child at home and encourage them to use phonics
