Y2 Looking back and forth 20th October

Thursday 20th October 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

A fabulous week at school enjoying the Exhibition about people who inspire us. Year 2 were able to enjoy their own session looking around the work done by all the year groups. Every child said “wow” as they walked in for the first time – a goose-bumps moment! I hope you also enjoyed viewing the work. Year 2 have worked hard to produce some brilliant writing and art work. We also hope that you will enjoy the crowns and hopefully keep them to remember the Queen.

We held a special assembly with Nick Bishop, who told the children about his work with long distance runners and their perseverance until they succeed. We also enjoyed a circus workshop learning new skills and the importance of not giving up. The children learned some juggling skills with silk hankies and balancing skills using “flower” sticks! It was really amazing and the children loved it. It has been a fantastic week. We have an INSET tomorrow. I hope you have a good half term break and see you on Monday 31st October.
