Looking back:

Well, this week has been as busy as ever with lots of learning taking place – well done Class 3 for another great week! We have been working hard to develop our historical knowledge of the Romans, to complete our Rocks topic in Science, experiencing our first week of in school swimming lessons and improving our ability to be persuasive in English. We have worked on our spellings relating to the rule, 'change the y to an i and add es’ and some of the historical vocabulary we are using within our writing.

Year 3 – Pupils’ Highlights:

  • Fish n Chips lunch
  • Learning about what music was like in Roman times.
  • Enjoying our first swimming session – front crawl and the football game session!
  • Sharing our classmate’s recommended reading shelf with him.
