Friday 9th September 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
What a brilliant first week back at school. I have been so proud of how the children have settled in. We have spent the week getting to know the new routines and classroom. They have done so well but I am sure everyone will be very tired!
Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- Number bond games
- Art for the classroom
- Writing about holiday activities
- Being back together
- Making a new friend

Looking forward:
- Reading books will be changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.
- PE will be on Fridays. Please ensure school PE kit is worn.
- A new book to inspire our writing
- Place value work in maths
- Healthy Me – Science
- We start our Exhibition work
