Year 2 Looking back and forth 13.5.22

Friday 13th May 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

It’s been another fabulous week in the Year 2 class. We have been writing setting and character descriptions as well as working on reading comprehension skills. In maths we have been using all the skills learned so far in Year 2. We continued to learn about the important work of Florence Nightingale and discovered facts about her life and her important work at Scutari hospital. In science we observed the progress of our bean experiment and wrote in our butterfly diaries. The children have also experienced regular phonics, PE, geography and music. They have worked really hard as always.
