Friday 14th January 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
Year 2 have had another great week. In English we have discovered “The Night Gardener” and enjoyed reading it together before writing a setting description. Phonics work was based around plurals and in guided reading sessions we focused on fluency and comprehension questions. In maths we have solved problems with addition and subtraction. In Science we began to explore the properties of materials and used our PE lesson to bend, twist, stretch and squash. Our PE with Premier Sport is games this term and the children focused on following rules of play and working together in a team.
