Friday 1st July 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
We have had a busy week writing Rosie Revere stories. The children have really enjoyed this text and it has been great to see them succeed. We continued to explore healthy eating and food groups in science. On Wednesday the children spent time in the Junior building using the computers to make programmes in Scratch. They had time to practise for Sports day on Friday. Another great week and we cannot believe how fast the time is going now.

Looking forward:
- Reading books will be changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.
- Sports Day is Tuesday 5th July at 115pm. Parents, you have been sent an email through School Spider. Please send your child in PE kit, wearing a t-shirt the colour of your child’s house. Please apply sun cream before coming to school. You are welcome to come and support your child. Please collect children from the classroom at the usual time. Reserve Sports day is Friday 8th at 115pm.
- PE will be on Fridays. Please ensure school PE kit is worn.
