Year 2 Looking back and Forth 4.11.22

Thursday 4th November 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

Well done Year 2, it has been a great first week back to school. They have all worked really hard and coped with the excitement of Hallowe-en on a school night!

We began exploring our new text, A River, and will use it to eventually write a version of the story. We have been busy adding two digit numbers and using our skills to problem solve in maths. The children have also enjoyed geography and music with Mrs Saxton plus RE and French with Mrs Cuttle. In history we have started a new topic exploring home through the ages – look out for a homework request to support this learning. Phonics work has been around past tense words this week.

A super week back. Have a great weekend.
