Year 4 Looking Back and Forth - 24th June

Friday 24th June – Looking Back & Forth in Year 4

Looking back:

This week, our new book, The Lost Happy Ending, which we have been studying as part of our English curriculum has been very popular and we all enjoyed our maths lessons on decimals and fractions and also about the properties of shapes.  We were really lucky that Mr Few, one of our governors, was able to come into school on Tuesday afternoon to tell us all about his trip to the Himalayas.  He showed us lots of photos and answered all of our questions.  He said he was really impressed with how much the children knew.  Many thanks to Mr Few for giving up his time.  We had another session in the school woods and in the wildlife garden studying plants and invertrbrates in more detail and we also began to make our mountain dioramas which we will be animating.
