Year 4 we 12th May

That was our first full week for ages what with Llanberis and Easter but it certainly didn't seem any longer than our recent 3 and 4 day weeks.

The week began really well with a visit from Mr Capewell from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School who taught the class cricket skills - he will be coming again next Monday which is brilliant.  We started some art work based on our Llanberis trip and we also looked at the counties of the UK - we are working our way out from Goostrey.  I did wonder what the weather would be like this week which is why I moved my science lessons around to take advantage of the weather the week before in case it rained this week.  Needless to say, it was even sunnier and warmer this week but we continued with our topic of living things and their habitats out of the heat of the sun.

Next week we will be continuing to look at narrative writing in English and we are working with fractions in maths.  Only two more weeks and it will be half term again  so we have an awful lot of hard work to do before the!

Have a nice weekend and a good week.
