Year 4 we 16th June

Well what a week!  It was lovely to meet our South African friends on Tuesday and we were delighted that they were able to entertain us at Goostrey's Got Talent on Wednesday night.  This was also a brilliant evening - the children all performed brilliantly and it was such fun! I will put the photos on shortly.  There will also be a piece in the newsletter next week.

We had a wonderful time when the South African children came to visit our class - we taught them a traditional English country dance then we showed them how to play musical hoops (without the music) on the astroturf as it was such a nice day.  We have also been doing lots of assessments so the extra activities we have done have been a welcome break.  Sports day went really well and we were blessed with good weather this year!

Next week we will continue with our final assessments and then we will be back to 'normal' lessons.  I am hoping to begin making our chairs on Thursday afternoon, so if any adults are free to help, you would be most welcome!
