Year 4 we 1st July

It is really hard to believe that we are already in July!

What a week we had last week.  Needless to say, the highlight was Goostrey's Got Talent.  Would you have liked to have been one of the judges?  I wouldn't have wanted that responsibility! I thought all of the children performed brilliantly, especially the year 4 children and they were all winners in my eyes.  It takes a lot of preparation but it's all worth it to have such a fun evening.

We have another busy week ahead - we are performing Goostrey's Got Talent again at 09:30 on Monday morning for the rest of the school - I'm sure they will really love it. Children should come in uniform then change at school.  Please remember to bring in any music, props etc if they are not still at school.

As well as the usual lessons, there is Bikeability after school on Wednesday - children should bring their bikes to the playground on Wednesday morning together with their helmets if they are wearing one (this is recommended, of course).

On Thursday afternoon we will be sewing so if any parents/grandparents/older siblings/aunts/uncles are available to help, your support would be much appreciated as it is quite difficult to thread and tie knots for 29 children!

The final event of the week will be Sports Day which starts at 2pm on Friday afternoon with a normal finishing time for the children.  Let's all keep our fingers crossed for good weather.

Have a great week!
