Year 4 we 20th Jan

We had a good week last week with lots of interesting topics.  The children really like 'Almost Home', the pre-quel to the film 'Home' - we've all turned into authors!  We were looking at fractions in maths - always challenging and we also looked at Viking exploration.  This was all as well as all of the work we did with Georgia from ISingPOP.  The singing was brilliant with the children learning 7 new songs - amazing.  The recording sounded great and I am really looking forward to the concerts next Thursday (26th) - hope you've got your tickets.

We will be going outside for PE this week, weather permitting, so thank you all for sending in the correct kit - I don't want children catching cold (or me for that matter but I am always prepared).

The cake sale was lovely - what a super selection - I know, I examined them all closely.
