Year 4 we 21st July

I cannot believe that that is the end of our final week together - the entire year has flown by.  We are still working very hard with good results.  We finished our work on persuasive texts by writing about the rights and wrongs of zoos - an interesting topic I felt.  We have also been looking at scaling in maths.  I have also managed to fit in some lessons about Henry VIII and his wives - always a favourite. 

Next week, the children will be meeting their new teachers on Monday morning then we will be watching the year 6 dress rehearsal - always a treat.  We may watch a film on Wednesday morning.  Please let me know if you have any objection to your child watching a PG film - this will depend on what the children choose to watch so may not be an issue.

I have sent home as many books and other items as possible but I will keep PE kits until Tuesday afternoon just in case we decide to go on the field,
