Year 6 - Looking back and Forth - Friday 13th November 2020

Y6 – Friday 13th November  2020 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

It’s been a really enjoyable week in Year 6 with lots of different lessons and learning taking place.  We have learned so much about Carnegie Hall in New York, including the works of Gustav Holst and his composition “The Planets”.  We have worked on improving our number work in maths.  Science has seen us using the electricity kits to strengthen our knowledge in this topic.  Friday was so busy with lots of yellow on display to show our support for Children in Need.  We also enjoyed a “Guess the Teacher” quiz with lots of pictures of our teachers and staff looking cute (so they told us) J

Letters issued Y6:

Kingswood 2021 information – emailed to families on Thursday 12th November

Year 6 – Pupils’ Highlights:

  • Maths lessons throughout the week
  • Geography with Mrs. Cooper working on the “lines” around the earth
  • Work on biomes
  • Publishing our English work
  • Listening to “The Planets”
