Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 10th November 2017

What a really busy and exciting week it's been.  Once again, lots of new things to think about and consider and we are really pleased with how the class has settled back in.

English lessons have seen a focus on "The Highwayman" a poem written by Alfred Noyse; maths has strengthend knowledge of primes, factors, multiples and fractions.

Thursday was particularly interesting with Mrs. Benson's visit to the Hat Works Museum - by train - in Stockport.  The children had a wonderful time and there are many photos to look at by clicking on the gallery link below.

Friday saw the Premier Sports leaders teach tag rugby - great skills and games to be enjoyed.

Questions to ask your son/daughter this week:

What was your favourite part of The Hat Works visit?

Can you name a famous hat designer?

What skills did you practise with Premier Sports?

What is an "ostler"?
