Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 10th December 2021

Y6 – Friday 10th December 2021 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

Our penultimate week in school and we’ve been looking at a range of topics and lessons.  We are all prepared for writing our explanation texts about animals and their adaptations over the next few days.  Our topic on fractions is almost completed too.  We have enjoyed sharing and discussing our “No Outsiders” book called ‘The Whisperer’ at the beginning of the week and on Tuesday, we discussed how to find credible information on the internet.  To complement our English, science saw us discussing a beak buffet and Thursday saw the class listen to Mrs Cuttle who visited our RE lesson to discuss a pilgrimage to Lourdes.  PE with Mr Biggs was great fun, challenging our balance and climbing skills and – of course – we completed our week with our Buddies and the “Elf Run”.
No two weeks are ever the same!
