Y6 – Friday 3rd May 2024 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
We have enjoyed a week of different activities and we are looking forward to the extra holiday on Monday. This week, we have completed our writing to describe mythical creatures which appear in our new class book “Impossible Creatures” by Katherine Rundell. Revision for our upcoming assessments has continued alongside revising percentages in maths. We counted and monitored our heart rates and pulses as part of our scientific investigations and discussed human rights in connection with another text – Dreams of Freedom. Our dances continue to be improved as part of PE and we finished the week by showing our completed nightlights to our wonderful buddies.

Looking forward:
- We are going to be focusing on our upcoming assessments next week with a range of mini-study activities to revise particular topics. Our afternoon sessions will continue with our usual foundation subjects including PE on Friday and buddies to finish.
